Updating Activities

How To Update Assessment Activities

After grading and entering an assessment, please update the corresponding activity at the bottom of the student’s page.

In the comments box, the most recent note should always be on top. Hit enter twice to give yourself space to type. Enter today’s date, then your initials, and what you did.

To save a chart for an assessment, go to the assessment where you entered the results. For Pre- or Post-Assessments this is in the Assessments box at the top of the student’s page.

OR

For a Progress Check, this will be in the Learning Plan box (click View):

Then in the open window you can save the chart:

When saving a chart for any assessment, always choose ‘Save as Resource’. You can then check the Resources box on the student’s page to make sure it is saved correctly. The ONLY assessments we do not save a chart for are Part A’s.

 

Go back to the Activities box, edit the Activity, and update as necessary, then in the status box, change the status to ‘In Progress’ and Save.

If the assessment is a Pre-Assessment or Part A on blue pages – the next step is to add a Learning Plan. The Assessment will be found in the Assessments box near the top of the student’s page:

After clicking “Add LP” it will show up in the student’s Learning Plan Box, with today’s date in the Created box.

The Activity should then be updated again:

At this point, if you haven’t completed training on how to create the Learning Plan pages, please save the activity, and leave In Progress, so Juli can take the next steps. Please hand the completed assessment to Juli also, so she is aware the student is ready for new pages. If you have completed training on making a Learning Plan, please follow the next steps.

 

Go back to the Learning Plan box and click edit:
